Leveraging a decade of teaching and mentoring experience at Public Charter Highschools, Community Colleges, I am confident in my ability to make a meaningful contribution to your child.
An important element of my teaching philosophy, and as a lifetime advocate for teenagers, consists of authenticity, honesty and simplicity: persistent with simplicity, passionate with honesty and patient with authenticity. From my 7 years of teaching with a traditional pedagogy and 6 years of teaching with a progressive pedagogy, I truly believe that educators are not mere information providers, but allies to support the individual student body’s independence as a learner.
